Specialist Dementia Care at Wytham House

Nicola visited the newly opened Wytham House care home on the Oaken Holt Care Home estate in Farmoor, which provides specialist dementia care and was recently purpose-built following a multi-million pound investment.

Nicola took a tour of the home chatting with residents and the care team, after which she joined residents for lunch. Wytham House has been specially designed to be dementia-friendly and all of the team have undergone in-house training in order to provide residential, nursing and dementia care.

Nicola says: The staff at Wytham House are clearly so committed to caring for the residents, ensuring they have personalised care in a safe environment, and the new building is ideal for the wide range of activities and programmes offered to residents.
