Singing for Syrians

Just as last year Nicola is helping to raise money for the most vulnerable Syrian refugees through ‘Singing for Syrians’, an initiative launched by fellow Oxfordshire MP Victoria Prentis. All money raised goes to the Hands Up Foundation and Christian Aid, who are working in the region to provide vital supplies and medical staff to those most in need.

Nicola joined fellow musical MPs and school children from St Matthew’s School on #givingtuesday to sing a number of carols, including ‘Hark the Herald Angels Sing‘, on College Green by Parliament. Alongside Nicola and Victoria were Will Quince MP, Anne-Marie Trevelyan MP, Robert Buckland MP, Cherly Gillan MP, Andrea Jenkyns MP and Fiona Mactaggart MP.

Nicola will give a solo performance of a traditional Christmas carol at a Carol Service in Westminster next week to further raise awareness and funding for this important cause.
