#shoplocal is Nicola’s campaign to support small, independent businesses in the local area.

Residents consistently tell Nicola that one of their top priorities is protecting the character of their High Streets and keeping their much loved independent shops and small businesses.

#shoplocal gives residents a chance to nominate their favourite local small business and explain why they are so important to the local community.

By popular demand last year’s brilliant #shoplocal Abingdon winners were Throwing Buns, Added Ingredients and Galaxy Techno.

This year, Nicola expanded the campaign and so that residents in Summertown, Botley and Abingdon can all take part and with the nominations now closed the winners can be announced:

***Summertown’s Favourite Small Shop Award***
