Remembering the Holocaust: ‘Keep the memory alive’

27th January 2015 marked the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz- Birkenau, and 2015 is also the 20th anniversary of the Genocide in Srebrencia, Bosnia. Events took place around the UK to mark Holocaust Memorial Day 2015: Keep the memory alive, and Nicola signed the Holocaust Educational Trust’s Book of Commitment to remember victims and honour survivors.

Holocaust Memorial Day is an important opportunity to make sure the victims and survivors of the Holocaust are never forgotten, and to learn from the appalling events that took place as we continue to fight genocide, oppose discrimination in all its forms and defend the persecuted.
