Nicola Backs Villagers Campaign to Save Cumnor Post Office

Nicola is backing rural communities in villages like Cumnor and Appleton as they campaign for vital local infrastructure like Post Offices and broadband.

Cumnor Post Office is under threat in the Post Office ‘modernisation’ programme and Nicola is backing villagers as they campaign to save this essential service that many local residents – especially the more vulnerable – rely on.

Nicola has already raised local concerns with the Post Office in writing and now, having met with the Post Mistress and residents at Cumnor Post Office to discuss next steps, she is organising a face to face meeting for the Post Mistress and her husband with the Post Office and will be backing local residents all the way in their bid to keep Cumnor Post Office open.

Local residents are encourage to write or email to the Post Office to express their support for the Post Office and demonstrate its viability.
