Launching the Australian British Health Catalyst
I was delighted to give the opening keynote for the first Australian British Health Catalyst.
Australia and the UK face similar challenges – ageing populations, increased health costs and pressures on government and health insurance funding.
The inaugural Health Catalyst will bring together Australian and UK Government officials, regulators and business leaders to examine how digital technology is revolutionising the sector from better management of records, facilities and diagnoses, through to better patient engagement and outcomes.
The Catalyst will meet with and hear from UK experts and engage in a dialogue expected to enhance knowledge and increase business development opportunities. What better setting for these conversations than the Cambridge Biomedical Campus and the Wellcome Genome Campus at Hinxton Hall, home to the Human Genome Project.
