Action for Diabetes

Nicola dropped by the Diabetes UK event in the House of Commons to support the launch of their report, ‘State of the Nation: Challenges for 2015 and beyond’ which demonstrates that diabetes is an increasingly urgent health issue but that better care helps individuals and saves money in the long run.

There are an estimated 10,714 people in Oxfordshire with undiagnosed diabetes and the majority of Type 2 diabetes cases can be prevented or delayed. It is vital that people visit their GP to find out if they are at risk of diabetes and how it can be prevented.
